Arriva oggi (venerdì 18 ottobre) il cofanetto “40 Live ““ Curà…tion-25 + Anniversary”, una vera manna dal cielo per i fan dei Cure che potranno gioire con ben due interi concerti audio e video e molte altre chicche, il tutto in sei dischi (4 CD e 2 DVD o BluRay) che garantiranno uno spaccato decisamente interessante dei Cure dal vivo.
Il primo spettacolo è quello avuto luogo al Royal Festival Hall (nel contesto del Meltdown Festival), a Londra, nel giugno dello scorso anno, intitolato “From There To Here | From Here To There”. Nel live la band ha eseguito un brano da ognuno dei 13 album, dapprima in ordine d’uscita, poi in ordine inverso, ma anche diversi brani mai eseguiti fino a quel momento.
Il secondo dei due concerti registrati riporta la giornata del 2 luglio 2018, chiamata “Anniversary: 1978-2018 Live In Hyde Park London”, una celebrazione in musica per il quarantesimo anniversario del gruppo di fronte a 65.000 spettatori.
