L’attesa per “Dear Tommy” sembra interminabile.
Il nuovo disco dei Chromatics annunciato inizialmente per febbbraio ma in realtà completato solo ad Aprile risulta ad oggi ancora senza release-date.
Nel mentre però sul web arrivano in streaming i primi brani.
Ieri è stato il turno di “Shadow” canzone svelata tramite la “singles series” di Adult Swim e che già l’anno scorso girava in versione demo.
John Lewel ha così commentato la traccia:
Everyone has a shadow. There is no real difference between ten years ago and ten seconds ago. Your future determines your past. The flame of nostalgia is a tempting black hole to jump into, but I recognize it as a fantasy.
Romance is brave. So is simplicity. Love is a call to war. Why wouldn’t you want to respect music? “Dear Tommy” is the most rebellious record I’ve made.
